What Drives Us
The Arthur Scandrett Disability Scholarship Foundation empowers minority students with disabilities to achieve their educational dreams. Since 1992, we've transformed lives by providing crucial financial support and resources to students at Howard University, with plans to expand across multiple HBCUs nationwide.
Making a
Difference
At the Arthur Scandrett Disability Scholarship Foundation, we believe that everyone deserves access to education, regardless of their disabilities. Founded in 1992 by Arthur P. Scandrett, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1969, our non-profit organization is dedicated to providing scholarships and support to disabled students at Howard University. We are committed to alleviating the financial burdens of education for these students, and helping them achieve their academic and career goals.
